The Foreign Languages Section of the Institute for Liberal Arts (ILA) is responsible for foreign language education at Science Tokyo, and faculty in the Section conduct research on foreign languages and cultures. We are dedicated to helping students from diverse countries attain high levels of applied foreign language abilities, thus empowering them to learn from one another across borders and cultures as is required in this age of international collaboration and joint research. We aim to promote intercultural understanding among students at Science Tokyo.

    Maintaining our essential role in the research and teaching of foreign languages and cultures at Science Tokyo, we will continue our multifaceted activities as one of the sections that provide education in Liberal Arts.
